Tesla Roadster Production ends in December
We revealed back in November that Tesla intends using the Model S platform to produce a Crossover come SUV to appeal to a more mainstream market than their current ‘Lotus with batteries’ Tesla Roadster. Having officially sown that seed, Tesla has now revealed that the Tesla Model X will be revealed – in prototype form, of course – by the end of 2011. At pretty much the same time as production of the Tesla Roadster comes to an end.

Renault has just swiped the covers off this, its hottest-ever Renaultsport Megane hot hatch. The new 2009 model – official title, the New Megane Renaultsport 250 – builds on the company’s growing dominance in the pocket rocket middle market. Remember how Peugeot used to rule the roost?
The latest Toyota GT 86 by Gazoo Racing – the GRMN Sports FR Platinum Concept - has been revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon. The most interesting is a GT86 that comes from Gazoo Racing – a part of Toyota – which was teased last week and gets the same sort of power upgrades as the Gazoo GT86 we saw turn up at Le Mans and Goodwood last year – the GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum. The GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum gets a new front bumper and headlights with air vents on the bonnet, new back bumper and tail lights and a thumping great wing on the back.
